On the eve of the conference, on April 22, 2017, at the CEMED Medical Education Center, surgical workshops under the supervision of Dr. Frances Harcourt-Brown and her husband, Dr. Nigel Brown took place. After the theoretical part, the participants started practical classes in pairs. They had written and graphic descriptions of procedures at their disposal, and the lecturers answered questions and helped to perform them on cadavers.
The topics of the workshop included the following sections:
I Head surgery:
- Outer landmarks of the rabbit skull;

II Chest surgery:
