On December 15-18, 2017, a conference, workshop and masterclass devoted to guinea pig medicine took place in Warsaw, Poland.
Our second unique event gathered as many as 250 participants from 17 countries. We invited outstanding specialists in the field of guinea pig diseases, Dr. Charly Pignon, from University Alfort in France and Dr. Mette Lybek-Ruelokke from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
The conference was preceded by an intensive workshop day on soft surgery and dentistry led by Dr. Pignon. After the conference, under the supervision of Dr. Lybek-Ruelokke, a masterclass was held focused on clinical cases of guinea pigs.
During one day of the event, veterinarians from Poland had the opportunity to present their oral reports to the public.
